Einige Worte ueber mich:

LiLA ist der Kuenstlername, der mich Anfang der 80-Jahre als Saengerin vorstellte.
In Hindi und Sanskrit bezeichnet LilA das kosmische Spiel - und so erfahre ich mein Leben auch, als Entfaltung eines kosmischen Bewusstseins, das mich in immer neuer Weise und Form ins Unbekannte stellt. Ein Abenteuer, dessen naechster Schritt sich aus der staendigen Suche nach Wahrheit ergibt.
Seit Mitte der 80er Jahre tragen meine Bilder den Namenszug LiLA. Meist blitzen ihre Inhalte in meinem Bewusstsein wie Botschaften aus einer anderen, tieferen Welt auf. Manchmal draengen auch konkrete Gefuehlsinhalte nach Ausdruck in den sichtbaren und erfassbareren Bereich. Wie schwanger trage ich sie als Keim oft jahrelang in mir, bis sie fast aus eigenem Antrieb geboren werden koennen. Manche Bilder bleiben vielleicht auch immer bei mir, oder geben als Skizzen und Torsos ihr Geheimnis auf andere Weise preis, wer weiss?

Die Bilder, die geboren werden muessen, entfalten ihre Botschaft waehrend der Arbeit und in den wichtigen Etappen der Pausen. Zeit ist ein kraftgebender Faktor in meiner Malerei. Sie ist die Sonne, die bestaendig und rhythmisch scheint, um den Fruechten Farbe zu geben.

Some words about me:

LiLA is the artist name, that introduced me in the early 80ies as a singer.
LiLA is a Sanskrit term for the cosmic play &endash; and that's the way I experience my life: the evolvement of a cosmic consciousness, that keeps on placing me inventively into new and unknown settings. An adventure, in which each step I take is a result of an ongoing groping for truth.
Since the mid 80ies my paintings carry the signation LiLA. Most times a vision occurrs within me like a message from another, a deeper world. Sometimes it's a feeling that keeps insisting on being expressed into the visual and more tangible realm. It can take years, till I can give birth to these germs, that seem to materialize in their own pace and by their own will. There are images that will maybe stay within me like in a mother's womb forever or they reveal their secrets in another way or as scetches and torsos, who knows?

Those visions, that must be born, unfold their messages during the creative process and in the intermitting times. Time plays an important role in my work. It is the sun, that shines rhythmically and continuously, to give color to the fruits.
